An MIT spinoff called Boston Dynamics just released a brand new video of their quadruped robot, BigDog, tromping around Thailand.

how can one try to make a small replica of such self balanced robots?
i won at many places an line follower & micromouse competitions.
So wanted to make such kinda robot.

I’m surprised these robots can go in salt water and tumble down a pile of rocks and still keep going. I'm sure they are longer lasting than the Energizer Bunny (but they are not as cute.)
