So it’s no surprise that MIT community members will have a huge impact on the conference.Alumni Association research indicates that more than 40 MIT alumni, faculty, and researchers will host sessions and share their expertise during the five-day festival, which takes place Sunday, September 25–Saturday, October 1.The MIT community members will present on a number of innovative and creative topics, including medical storytelling (Rachel Zimmer, Knight Science Journalism fellow); genomics and nanotechnology (David Altshuler '86 and Professor Sangeeta Bhatia SM '93, PhD '97); how opioids affect the brain (Associate Professor Seth Mnookin); and “making dinner your family’s favorite time” (Lieza Dagher SM '04, MCP '04).See the Alumni Association still-growing list on MIT-connected presenters.For more information on MIT’s role at the festival, visit the HUBweek website.
