An MIT Alumni Association Publication
What's happening on Sunday? Only one of the biggest events in MIT's history. If you live or will be near Boston, join thousands of others from the MIT community for the Next Century Convocation, the centerpiece of the MIT150 festivities that commemorates the 1861 signing of MIT's charter. If you won't be in the area, you can still participate—keep reading.

The gathering recalls the 1949 Mid-Century Convocation and celebrates the scholarly accomplishments of MIT faculty and students. The theme is the "habits of mind" fostered by MIT research and education: integrity, diligence, service, social responsibility, and creativity.
