In addition to our current TechTV channel, the Alumni Association recently launched a YouTube channel: youtube.com/alumniMIT. This channel includes our newest videos and archives from years past. The Alumni Association’s presence on YouTube will allow visitors a chance to share videos from our channel and engage easily.
Here is a taste of what you can find on our new YouTube channel:
The full collection of speaker videos from Tech Days 2014, 2013, and 2012 is now available on YouTube. You can browse videos by speaker, like Professors Sara Seager and Ed Boyden ’99, MEng ’99, or search by Tech Day topics such as The Brain as a Computer and Solutions for Water Supply.
Our collection of Faculty Forums includes over 20 students and members of MIT faculty speaking on their area of expertise. Favorites to watch include “Women's Health Research at MIT with Professor Linda Griffith” and “MIT Students at Work in the World.”
Alumni Leadership Conference Archives
Browse the archives for talks from alumni and faculty the previous Alumni Leadership Conferences. One highlight is last year’s TIMtalks—based on the popular TED Talks—where current students share stories of Institute life, success, and failures.
Events, Advice, and Interviews
We will be adding new videos to our YouTube and TechTV channels. Take the time to browse all videos, which include highlights from 50th Anniversary Celebration of McCormick Hall, advice for incoming students, and, of course, the construction of MIT’s campus—in cake form.
To see all these videos and more, visit our YouTube channel directly or through the Alumni Association’s Google+ page.
