The MIT Alumni Association helps you stay in touch with Institute news and research breakthroughs, connect to your fellow alumni worldwide, and enjoy many services and programs on campus and off. Get a glimpse of your opportunities in the Association’s FY15 Year in Review. Here are a few highlights:

The most popular destination on the alumni website is the Online Alumni Directory, which provides access to fellow alumni. You can search for alumni in your industry, your company, or your town—or the city you are moving to. You can find career advisors through the Institute Career Assistance Network program. Want to know what happened to your buddies in the Sky Diving club? Sort alumni by student activities. For full access, please sign up for your Infinite Connection account. Some 49,030 alumni logged in to the OAD this year.

Want meet up with fellow alumni? Find an MIT club near your home, join an alumni group focusing on culture or common interests, or come to Tech Reunions, the largest gathering of MIT alumni on the planet. The Association works with alumni groups to host 1,308 events worldwide. You can also join the 14,879 alumni and friends who volunteer for MIT and the Association. Explore the opportunities to get involved.

Want to connect online? You can visit the Slice of MIT blog for alumni stories and quirky research, and check out our social media streams for campus, research, and alumni news. Innovations this year include Slice of MIT podcasts, a new YouTube channel that features videos on MIT astronauts and more, and the MIT Alumni Quad app.

MIT counts on the support of alumni to maintain its excellence and solve global challenges. This year the results were extraordinary with 45,006 individual donors contributing more than $69.5 million. How did they contribute? While there are hundreds of choices, many made gifts to the unrestricted fund, which helps MIT meet challenges in all areas, and others contributed to options including a new crowdfunding platform that supports student projects. Is your name on the donors list?

What else can you find out on the Year in Review page?

  • Percent of degrees granted by each school
