MIT Ranked No. 2 University by US News for 2025

US News and World Report recently released its 2025 Best Colleges rankings for undergraduate education, placing MIT second overall among colleges and universities in the United States.

The Institute ranked at or near the top in several categories, including first for undergraduate engineering, a position it has held for many years, and first for economics. The Institute ranked second for business and computer science programs. MIT also placed first in six out of nine engineering disciplines.
