Join us on Thursday, March 12, for the MIT 24-Hour Challenge.
The challenges caused by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) are having a profound impact around the globe, including at MIT. The Institute has heard from many alumni and friends wanting to help the Institute support the health and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff.
In response, this year’s MIT 24-Hour Challenge is focused on students, online learning, and research—three of the MIT community’s most critical needs, both here on campus and around the world, because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
From midnight to 11:59 p.m. (ET), thousands of alumni and friends around the world will unite to support students who need help to navigate the changes to their semester; faculty and staff working to expand remote and online learning opportunities; and interdisciplinary research teams looking to accelerate the pace from discovery to application. In addition, more than 60 MIT programs and groups are holding microchallenges to support their core needs.
