Here at the MIT Alumni Association, we believe that MIT alumni make up the most talented network in the world and our network grows every year. In the 2018 academic year, the Institute awarded 1,044 bachelor’s, 1,788 master’s, 12 engineer, and 645 doctoral degrees, to increase the total number of living alumni to more than 137,000. View the infographics below for more stats on MIT’s alumni population.*

Editor’s Note: Earlier this summer, the MIT Alumni Association sent an email that presented an erroneous statistic regarding our student population. Facts and accurate reporting matter, and we apologize. We commit to you, our MIT alumni and friend readers, in ensuring that it does not happen again.
