2017 Rankings: MIT Tops in Engineering

U.S. News & World Report released its 2017 Best U.S. Colleges Rankings on Sept. 13 and MIT was named the best undergraduate engineering program for the 26th consecutive year. The Institute also placed first in 10 other categories, including the high school counselor rankings, and named in the top 10 in 13 more.
U.S. News’ undergraduate rankings mirror its rankings of best graduate schools released earlier this year. MIT earned 10 first-place rankings, including top graduate engineering school for the 28th consecutive year,and top-10 rankings in eight other categories.
