Please join us for a special opportunity for MIT and Harvard Alumni from the Twin Cities area to meet one another and socialize over champagne at a relaxing summer reception. Back by popular demand, the reception will be followed by an AI speaker panel which will feature innovators and experts discussing how Artificial Intelligence is transforming business. The event will be held at the historic University Club of Saint Paul on Summit Avenue with beautiful views of the river valley.

Aline Oliveira Pezente
Co-Founder of trAIve and Global Digital Economy Strategy Lead at Cargill
MIT Sloan Fellow (SM '18)
Aline serves as Agriculture Supply Chain Global Digital Economy Strategy Lead at Cargill. She is also Co-Founder of trAIve, an agri-fintech startup using Artificial Intelligence and scalable analytics to create an online lending platform that expands access to credit for farmers and value for investors. Aline is an entrepreneur and business leader with a passion for digital transformation in the agriculture industry. She was featured by MIT Technology Review in 2018 in 35 under 35 Innovators of the world (Latam) for her work on Traive. Aline holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie in Sao Paulo, a master’s degree in finance from FIA Business School in Sao Paulo, and a master’s degree in management and technology from MIT, with a certificate in Business Analytics.
Robert Arens
Associate Director of Data Science at Best Buy

Dr. Arens has over 15 years of experience in machine learning and natural language processing in academic, start-up, health care, and corporate environments. His data science experience and research includes work at AIM Consulting Group, Thomson Reuters, and Columbia University Medical Center. Robert has two bachelors degrees, a masters degree, and a doctoral degree in Linguistics, Mathematics, and Computer Science from the University Iowa.
Nick Morgan
Data Scientist at Korn Ferry
Harvard University (MS '20)
Nick is a data scientist focused on Neural Networks, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision. His experience includes serving as a data scientist at Korn Ferry and 3M and as senior research analyst at The Lewin Group. Nick completed his undergarduate work at the University of Saint Thomas with a BA in Economics. He is currently finishing up an MS in Computer Software Engineering at Harvard University.
