The MIT Task Force on the Work of the Future will be releasing an interim report with its findings on how technology might evolve and implications for workers in the public and private sectors. The event will be kicked off with brief remarks by MIT President Rafael Reif, who established the Task Force in 2018, followed by an overview of the findings by Task Force leaders David Autor, David Mindell, and Liz Reynolds. The issues will then be discussed by an expert panel from business, labor, and education, moderated by New York Times economics reporter Eduardo Porter.
