Join MIT Architecture Alumni and friends from across the New York Metro Region in a social gathering to be held at Dattner Architects, a mission-driven, women-owned design firm.

The event is graciously hosted by Richard Dattner '60, who will make a brief presentation of the principles by which his practice has been leading public, civic and mixed-use projects for over 60 years. 

We will meet from 6-8pm at 498 Seventh Ave (corner W.37^th St.), 20^th Floor. Refreshments will be provided.

There is no cost to attend, but registration is limited so please sign up so your name will be at the entrance desk.

Join area MIT alums for an in-person tour of the collections of Rochester's Memorial Art Gallery.  The tour begin aat 6:30PM on Thursday, May 1 and will last about an hour and will be led by a gallery docent.  The museum is at 500 University Avenue.

The Laboratory for Laser Energetics (LLE) was founded in the fall of 1970. The mission of the Laboratory was to investigate the interaction of intense laser radiation with matter. LLE was established as a multidisciplinary teaching and research center for the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences.

To conduct implosion experiments and basic physics experiments in support of the National Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF) program. 2. To develop new laser and materials technologies. 3. To provide graduate and undergraduate education in electro-optics, high-power lasers, high-energy-density physics, plasma physics, and nuclear fusion technology. 4. To operate the National Laser Users' Facility. 5. To conduct research and development in advanced technology related to high-energy-density phenomena.
