Join us Saturday Morning January 6th 2024 at 8:30 AM for a walk through Penasquitos Canyon to the Waterfall. 

To reach the starting point, Exit Highway 56 at Camino Del Sur and head South until the road ends.   

Starting Point

There is plenty of free street parking. We will meet at the Kiosk at the Trailhead.

The ROUTE is 3.6 miles of dirt path.  It is mostly flat.  Depending on the recent weather, the path can be muddy in places.  Many hikers bring a spare pair of shoes for the drive home.  This is a popular spot for mountain bikers, but luckily there are separate paths for bikers and hikers in the canyon. The waterfall area is a good spot to sit and enjoy a light snack.
