Weedon '41 Alumni Relations Awards

In 1998, Reid Weedon ’41 established the D. Reid Weedon, Jr. (1941) Alumni Relations Fund to recognize FSILGs that demonstrate outstanding alumni relations and promote strong alumni outreach. Reid was a member of the MIT Corporation, past president of the MIT Alumni Association, and a dedicated brother of the Phi Beta Epsilon fraternity.

Thanks to his generous support, FSILGs are eligible to receive one or more Weedon Alumni Program Grants each year. In addition to these activity-based grants, an annual Weedon Outstanding Alumni Relations Award of up to $10,000 will be awarded to one or more organizations with exemplary alumni engagement efforts.
