As promised, below is a collection of top MIT apps for Android. (We published an iPhone list last month; click here to see it.) We’ll revise this list as needed. For now, enjoy!

1. MIT Mobile: Brings essential Institute services to the Android user, including campus news, live campus shuttle tracking, a searchable campus map, an events calendar, and a course guide.

2. Technology Review: Features TR’s daily analysis of emerging technology news. Most content–daily news, videos, and blogs–is free. Magazine content is paid. (Existing print and digital subscribers to Technology Review receive complete access to TR on mobile devices or the web).

3. Lecture Viewer: Provides a dynamic environment for accessing content hosted at academicearth.org, including videos produced by OpenCourseWare and alumnus-led Khan Academy.

Android users: If we’re missing any great MIT apps, contact us.
