Shay Maymon holds a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA, where he was a recipient of the Fulbright Fellowship for outstanding graduate students. His dissertation Sampling and Quantization for Optimal Reconstruction was written under the direction of Professor Alan V. Oppenheim. Shay's research interests lie broadly in machine learning and statistical inference, statistical signal processing, and computer vision.
