Cristina Dolan has spent the past two decades building and bringing to market advanced technology based products and businesses utilizing the Internet, eCommerce, interactive television, executive information systems, communications and network management technologies, wireless, multilingual enabling software and enterprise software. Most recently Cristina has been consultant helping companies with business development, creation of business plans, implementation of go-to-market strategies and establishing distribution channels. Customers include VeriSign, Motorola Ventures, Redwood Partners (Contracted by Fortune 50 Tech company to help spin off IP.) Sector Inc. (SIAC and NYSE subsidiary), and beingmeta (MIT spin-off supported by the MIT Venture Mentors).  Cristina applied her entrepreneurial experience towards helping non-profits think more like for-profit startups by launching Contribution Cards, which provides a 'cause related marketing' business model for non-profit fund raising. Cris was President, CEO and Director of WordStream, a company with a patented approach to the creation of multilingual information.   She was brought in by the board of directors to commercialize the five-year-old company.  As a founder, Division President, and the Content and Strategic Alliances Officer of OneMain (Prior to the Earthlink acquisition, OneMain, was a public company that grew to be the tenth largest US Internet service provider.), Dolan conceived and launched the cornerstone of OneMain, the Geographic Communities, which were local web portals for OneMain subscribers. This business unit reached profitability in only five months after the initial launch. Dolan brought to OneMain over a decade of eCommerce and strategic business alliance development expertise, most recently as Director of eCommerce Sales Strategy for the Americas, for the Oracle Corporation. Prior to Oracle, she was Director of Internet Operations and Technology for the ABC Multimedia Group (a Walt Disney Company) and in the early days of the Internet she was the Director of Internet Operations that launched Hearst Corporation’s flagship website HomeArts (acquired by iVillage).  Dolan has also been at the forefront of interactive television working with client, SNET. Additional career highlights include a decade at IBM, generating over $850M in revenue leading sales teams and projects with fortune 100 (banking, securities and telecommunications firms) customers, as a lead Marketing Representative and as a communications, network management and multimedia specialist. In these roles she won numerous honors and awards, including the American Express Chairman’s quality Award and IBM Hundred Percent Clubs. Her strong business and technical education includes a Master of Science from the MIT Media Lab. While at MIT, she took classes at MIT’s Sloan School and completed a Harvard Business School field study sponsored by Time Warner Interactive, which was a competitive analysis of the digital production and interactive entertainment industries. She also holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minor in business. 

In June 2001, Cris was nominated and featured by the Women in Techonology International (WITI) for her accomplishments as a leader in technology field. Cris has served on Microsoft’s Internet Advisory Board, the Netscape Internet Publishing Advisory Board, and has served within the New York Chapter of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IEEE).   She is the President of the MIT Club of New York (Formally served as EVP and VP of Communications for the MIT Club of New York.) and serves as a director on the Convent of the Sacred Heart Alumnae Board in New York. She applies her entrepreneurial knowledge by serving on the MIT Enterprise ForumNational Board and volunteering as an advisor to help NFTE (National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurialism) students start small companies. Cris is currently on the Advisory Boards for Dawn Productions and Smartmatics Inc . She was the NY City Opera Internet Advisor and member of the Education Task Force Committee of the New York City Opera’s Board, and she served as the nominating chair, treasurer and director of the Greenwich Maplehurst Alumnae Association. Cris is a past U.S. National Skeleton Champion and placed second in the World Championship. She speaks Spanish fluently.
