Tips and Tools to Maximize Your Website

Alumni Site Builder

Alumni Site Builder (ASB) is a free, Web-based tool that gives alumni groups-clubs, classes, affinity groups, FSILG alumni, and Enterprise Forum chapters-the ability to create and maintain their own Websites without the need to know HTML.

Sample sites that use ASB:

If your group is interested in using ASB, please write to asbhelp@mit.edu or call the dedicated customer service staff at 617-452-2500. For more information see the Alumni Site Builder Guide. (PDF)

Hosting your site on alumweb

As an alternative to Alumni Site Builder, alumni groups can post their site on the Association's Alumweb server for free. To do so, you must first contact Melissa Marquardt (for alumni clubs and affiliated groups) or Peter Muise (for alumni classes). They will work with your alumni group to appoint a volunteer webmaster who will serve as the contact person for the Web site.
