Class Organizations
Learn How Classes Are Governed
Each graduating class is like a mini-corporation—it has goals to set, information to communicate, and finances to manage. Like a corporation, each class needs an organizational structure and strong set of leaders to ensure that business is conducted in a timely and efficient manner.

The Alumni Association recommends that each class has (at minimum) a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, Webmaster, and class agent. Classes may have additional officers and an executive committee, depending on the projects they wish to pursue. The reunion chair and the reunion gift chair are appointed by the president in consultation with the Alumni Association.

Except for the class agent, officers are elected every five years at the class reunion; terms run from July 1 through June 30 in the year of the next reunion. The class agent is appointed by the class president in conjunction with the Alumni Association staff. Each class officer has unique responsibilities within the class.
