Class Agent Toolkit
Acknowledge Gifts, Boost Participation
The class agent is one of MIT's most important fund-raising volunteers. Class agents manage class fund-raising activities in the years between reunions. They also acknowledge classmates' gifts each month and work on projects designed to increase class participation in MIT's annual fund.
Learn about projects and procedures
The Class Giving staff provides guidelines to help class agents conduct their regular duties, such as the procedures for gift acknowledgements. The class agent calendar outlines the annual Alumni Fund activities, as well as proposed class agent projects. At the end of each year, the outcomes of any special class agent projects are presented in a summary report. For more details, see the class agent job description.
