The MIT Alumni Association's Volunteer Honor Roll recognizes alumni, parents, widows, spouses, faculty, or current students for extraordinary individual performance in volunteer work completed between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2010.
Examples
- A club member redesigned a club's Web site, resulting in a much improved product.
- A Bronze Beaver Award winner who served on a reunion gift committee made more successful solicitation calls than any other committee member.
- The parents of an MIT student hosted a large and successful gathering in their home for new MIT students and their families.

A committee appointed by the Executive Vice President of the Alumni Association will review nominations two times per year, in December and June. Those nominees selected for the Volunteer Honor Roll will be listed on the Alumni Association Web site. A maximum of 50 individuals per year may be selected for the Volunteer Honor Roll.
