Escape winter on this eight-day cruise of the tropical Lesser Antilles aboard the M.V. Silver Cloud. Cruise from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Bridgetown, Barbados, and explore the natural and cultural treasures of these Caribbean isles: mountainous Virgin Gorda, St. Kitts, St. Barts, Antigua, Dominica, and Grenada. On-board lectures are featured each day. Professor Emanuel’s talks will focus on hurricanes including their physics, their role in Caribbean history, and how climate change affects them. The trip price includes round-trip air from 23 gateway cities (limited availability). Also a host of complimentary features aboard ship, including gratuities and most on-board services, are included as well. Optional pre-trip extension to San Juan; post-trip extension to Barbados.
