Experience the beauty of the Pacific Northwest along the shores of the wild and scenic Rogue River. The itinerary follows the river as it flows from its headwaters near Crater Lake to the incomparable Oregon coastline. This uniquely active program allows travelers to choose between hiking or rafting each day. Expert guides lead each day’s expedition and share information on the local human and natural history. Travelers who choose to hike will carry only a small day pack, hiking from one riverside camp to the next, with hikes from 5 to 10 miles in length. A delicious dinner with an eclectic selection of local wines greets participants in the afternoon. Reconnect with Mother Nature and sink into the simple rhythm and joy of life on the river.
