Trip Brochure

Experience the sights, sounds, and tastes of China, in cosmopolitan cities and rural villages. Walk the Great Wall in Beijing, bike past rice paddies in a remote village, witness the astonishing Terra Cotta Warriors of Xi’an, and see a giant panda up close. Most importantly, adults and children will interact with the people of China: learning martial arts from local students, visiting Chinese artists and learning their craft, and meeting with young Chinese pen pals. Local experts accompany the group throughout the trip and reveal aspects of Chinese life that might be missed on a typical tour. In addition, a Chinese mentor will lead games and educational age-appropriate activities. The evenly paced trip allows younger and older participants to balance relaxation and adventure.
