MIT Externs Return
This IAP, a record number of undergraduate and graduate students participated in the MIT Student/Alumni Externship Program. 286 students traveled across the country and the world--China, Iceland, India, Netherlands,and Singapore--to work with and learn from alumni.

MIT graduate student Mariel Villeré is one of the awardees of the Class of 2008 Externship Assistance Fund. The Class of 2008 established this fund to help offset costs for MIT students whose externship experience is unpaid. Five students were awarded grants.
