Head of the Charles Regatta

Come and cheer the Engineers with us on Sunday, October 18, between 11:00 AM & 4:00 PM. Cheering gear will be provided upon arrival.

Reunion Village

Support your team and enjoy the greatest fall regatta in North America. The Village is located on the Boston side of the Charles River between the Weeks and Anderson Bridges. Positioned at the halfway point in the races, it’s one of the river’s BEST viewing sites! Admission is $3/person or $5/two for unlimited day access. The Reunion Village Hours are Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and Sunday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Getting There by Public Transit

The course is within easy walking distance of three MBTA stations (Central & Harvard on the RED line, and BU Central on the B Branch of the Green Line) and several bus stops along multiple routes: 1, 47, 64, 66, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75 & 86.

Walking from Harvard T Station: 0.5 mi – about 9 mins (RECOMMENDED)
- Head southeast on Massachusetts Avenue toward Dunster St (about 4 mins)
- Turn right at Bow St (about 1 min)
- Continue on Dewolf St (about 3 mins)

Getting There on Foot

Walking from Main Campus/77 Massachusetts Ave: 1.5 mi – about 30 mins
- Head northwest on Massachusetts Avenue toward Vassar St/Central Square (about 14 mins)
- Turn left at River St/Western Ave
- Slight right at Western Ave (about 2 mins)
- Slight right at Franklin St (about 9 mins)
- Turn right at Putnam Ave
- Turn left at Surrey St (about 1 min)
- Continue on Cowperthwaite St (about 3 mins)
- Turn left at Dewolf St
- Cross Weeks Footbridge (about 1 min)

Getting There by Car & Parking

All those who are not arriving with boats on their cars are STRONGLY advised to use public transportation. Parking is available Friday, Saturday, Sunday on Birmingham Parkway and Saturday and Sunday on Greenough Boulevard. Drivers should obey posted regulations and not park after dark. Anticipated Road Closures: 8:00 AM-7:00 PM: Memorial Drive from Cambridge Boat Club to Western Avenue (Sat. & Sun.) & 10:00 AM-6:00 PM: JFK Street to Eliot Street (Sun.)
