Parking
Whenever possible, walk to campus or use public transportation. As is the case with most urban areas, parking can be difficult, especially when classes are in session.
On Friday, short-term parking is available in the turn-around off Amherst Alley, which is also the Boston Duck Tour pick-up location.
To assist families who must drive to campus, the following is a list of campus locations where parking is free. Click on an individual listing to see a map of its location. Visitors may park cars and leave them throughout the weekend (at their discretion):

*This lot is free beginning at 5:00 PM Friday until 7:00 AM Monday, October 19 ONLY. Any cars remaining in the lot at 7:00 AM on Monday will be charged a fee.
Please note the following important information regarding other parking on campus during Family Weekend:
Friday, October 16 - West Garage will open to the public from 3:00 PM-7:00 PM with a daily cash-only rate of $5 per car. The exit gate will remain open for cars to exit at anytime.
Saturday, October 17 - West Garage will open to the public from
7:00 AM-7:00 PM with a daily cash-only rate of $5 per car. The exit gate will remain open for cars to exit at anytime.
Sunday, October 18 - West Garage will open to the public from 8:30 AM-
12:00 PM with a daily cash-only rate of $5 per car.The exit gate will remain open for cars to exit at anytime.
For all 3 days, each car entering one of the "cash-only" campus garages/lots will receive a ticket allowing it to exit and re-enter that facility multiple times during that day at no additional charge. This ticket should be placed on the dash. For
all 3 days, if West Garage is filled, West Lot will open with similar hours and the same rate.
