Accommodations 2012
Several local hotels and MIT dorms offer discounted rates for the benefit of MIT alumni and guests returning for Tech Reunions. Dorm rooms will be available when reunion registration opens in mid-March. Keep in mind children under six years old are not allowed to stay in the dorms. These hotels and the dorms are served by the Tech Reunions shuttles.
Hotels
The 50th Reunion alumni, Cardinal and Gray alumni, and all other alumni have separate hotels and rates. When making your reservation mention the group code specific to the hotel and your reunion class to receive the special rate. Please ask your hotel about its cancellation policy. Rooms may be difficult to find after the deadlines below so reserve your room now!
If not staying in a dorm, Class of 1962 alumni celebrating their 50th reunion should reserve a room at the Boston Marriott Cambridge, where several class events will occur. If not staying in a dorm, alumni from the Cardinal and Gray classes (1961 and older) should reserve rooms at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge, where several Cardinal and Gray events take place. All
other alumni reserving a hotel room should use their appropriate block code at
any of the three hotels listed below.

Some important information regarding staying in the MIT
dorms:

and a pillow are provided.
·Bathrooms are shared,
and most are co-ed.
·Coin-operated laundry is
available.
·Wireless Internet access
is available.
·Dorms are not
air-conditioned.
·Graduating seniors
will still be living in the dorms over the course of reunion
weekend.
·Children under age six are not allowed to stay
in the dorms.
