The Mind's Eye

This year's program brought together three of MIT's incredibly rich and diverse faculty: Professors Rebecca Saxe PhD '03, Pawan Sinha SM '93 PhD '95, and Patrick Winston '65 .

Technology Day focused on how the brain constructs abstract thoughts, how it develops perception of others as well as of itself, how it works with the eye when vision is damaged, and how developments in our understanding of the mind and brain have influenced the world of the constructed I, artificial intelligence.

Technology Day Luncheon

The Tech Day Luncheon was the perfect end to the Tech Day program. Classes gathered with President Hockfield and alumni leaders to enjoy fine food and celebrated the contributions alumni made to MIT.

Tech Challenge Games

The 18th annual Tech Challenge Games offered something for the entire family. Alumni and their families gathered for entertaining, MIT-style competitions, including a 2.70/2.007 design contest, the Alumni Bowl trivia quiz, and a paper airplane challenge. Watch video of the action.
