Tech Reunions: Family Fun
Ages 5 and under
The Alumni Association has organized several activities for small children and their parents. On Friday, June 5, bring your kids to the Boston Children's Museum or give them a view of Boston by amphibious vehicle on a Super Duck Tour. (Registration is required for both events.) On Saturday, June 6, join other MIT parents and their children on Kresge Oval for fun and games. There'll be beach balls, coloring books, and plenty of room to run! Registration is required. Please note that parents cannot leave their children unattended at this event.
Ages 6-14: Kid Tech
To make it easier for you to attend your reunion, the Alumni Association offers Kid Tech, a fun and educational youth program for children ages 6-14. You can relax and enjoy your reunion knowing the children are in good hands with experienced student counselors. Each day activities are provided that give your children a taste of the MIT firehose. Among other activities, they'll explore the MIT Museum, experiment with Domino Physics, and enjoy a puppetry workshop with artists from the Catalyst Collaborative.
Kid Tech is offered on Friday and Saturday, with each day broken into day and evening sessions. The day sessions run from 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., and evening sessions run from 6:00 p.m.-11:30 p.m. For more information, email reunions@mit.edu.
The Whole Family
Be sure to join your classmates and their families on Saturday, June 6, for the 18th annual Tech Challenge Games. Alumni and their families gather for entertaining, MIT-style competitions, including a 2.70/2.007 design contest, the Alumni Bowl trivia quiz, and a paper airplane challenge. It’s an afternoon of fun for alumni, spouses, children, and even innocent bystanders.
