Technology Day 2011
Doers and Dreamers: 150 Years of Inventing the Future, June 4
To celebrate MIT’s 150th anniversary, Tech Day will convene two panels of Institute experts from disparate fields to demonstrate the spirit that has shaped this unique place into one of the most vibrant and valued centers of learning on the planet.
The first panel will reflect on MIT’s extraordinary history and its expression in the physical development of the campus. Then, looking to the future, our second panel will consider how MIT impacts, and will continue to impact, the world in relation to the environment, the developing world, urbanization, and life expectancy.
