How do I know if I am eligible?

You are eligible if you are one of the following:

  1. Alumnus/a (degreed and non-degreed)

Degreed alumni will automatically be listed in the Infinite Connection database.

Non-Degreed alumni can ask to be added to the database so they can register for the Infinite Connection if they meet the following criteria:

    • If you attended MIT as a full-time undergraduate for at least one complete term (only after your class has graduated).
    • If you attended MIT as a full-time graduate student for at least two complete terms.

In order to be added to the database, please contact the Office of Records via email at mitalum@mit.edu or by telephone at 617-253-8270.

You will need to provide the following information:

    • Your legal name as it would appear in your official MIT records (transcript)

    • Date of birth
    • Dates you attended
    • Course (if applicable)
    • Your desired class and department affiliations
    • Current home address/telephone
    • Current business address/telephone

You should also explain that you would like to be added to the database so that you can take advantage of the services provided by the Infinite Connection. Database administrators can then verify your status with the Registrar's Office and add you to the database (if applicable). After you have been added to the database, you will be able to register for the Infinite Connection.
