This was a wonderful experience. Our extern was motivated, interested, and helped our business.  It was a pleasure working with him.

I would simply like to thank you for this opportunity, I think that the externship program is an excellent opportunity to help students get "a foot in the door" with regards to finding employment.

The two externs were terrific -  and I would be happy to give them recommendations for the future. We asked them to come back for our Annual Celebration, and will let them know how we use the work that they did for us.

-Wendy Landman ’75

My sponsor was fantastic - a true loyalist to MIT.  I admire his accomplishments and dedication to MIT very much.  I do hope he continues to participate in the Externship Program for future students.

I, and the rest of my group of physicians, enjoyed having Nathan. We hope to have continuing contact with him during the remainder of his time at MIT. At the conclusion of his 3 weeks with us several of my colleagues were surprised and disappointed that his externship was over already.

-Dr. Lee Perrin ’73
CAP Anesthesia, PC
Boston, MA

I had a wonderful experience.  APT made it easy for me to get to know people at the company by giving me a technically-challenging programming project that required me to talk to many people before I could complete it.  During my 3-week Externship, the President and 2 Vice Presidents of the 60-people company took me out to lunch on separate days. I also had coffee with the CEO. I loved the networking and engineering aspects of this Externship.

-Stanley Wang '08

Applied Predictive Technologies (APT), Arlington, VA

The Alumni Association would like to recognize and acknowledge the contributions of alumni sponsors and the participation of the current MIT students in the Externship Program.
