Your gift has an enormous impact on MIT, its students, and its faculty

Your gift has an enormous impact on MIT, its students, and its faculty. From the annual Alumni Fund, to matching gifts, to the Parent's Fund, there are a variety of ways you can ensure MIT's prominence as a world class university. Your gift enriches life for students, faculty, and for you. Find out how your support can make a difference.

More than 7,000 volunteers support the work of the Alumni Association and the Institute by helping with our diverse programs and services. There are many roles to choose from, and volunteers get the satisfaction of giving back to MIT while networking with alumni and learning new skills.

This year 943 alumni and non-alumni volunteers are serving as Club Officers, 793 as Class Officers, 215 as Enterprise Forum Officers, and 2,233 as Educational Counselors. These are just a few of the volunteer positions you might consider. Think about how volunteering benefits you. Meet alumni from around the world, develop lasting friendships, and gain insider's access to the administration that shapes current and future life at MIT, and much more.
