Become a Tech Caller

Become a Tech Caller

The Tech Caller Program is comprised of paid student callers who contact MIT Alumni on behalf of the Alumni Association. Tech Callers solicit donations for the Alumni Fund and form a unique connection with the alumni community through these calls. The callers field questions about MIT and exchange stories with alumni about life at MIT. The Tech Caller Program operates five nights as well as limited day shifts every week throughout the Fall and Spring Semesters as well as IAP. Beyond the great opportunities of this job, the program offers a flexible schedule for the hectic and demanding lives of MIT students.

Work Tech Reunions

Work Tech Reunions

Earn some quick cash before leaving for the summer, and get extended dorm housing until the end of Tech Reunions. Students work with over 2,800 returning alumni and guests as part of MIT's Tech Reunions in early June. Students can apply for either a short-term (first week of June) or long-term (mid-May through early June) position.

Student Ambassadors

Student Ambassadors

The Student Ambassadors are a small group of undergraduate and graduate students dedicated to the positive promotion of MIT. They volunteer to serve as a liaison between the current MIT student community and two other important groups: alumni and prospective students. The deadline for 2008-2009 academic year is Monday, September 8, 2008.

Senior Week Committee

Senior Week is an opportunity to unite the graduating class as they celebrate their upcoming Commencement. A committee of students works with the MIT Alumni Association to plan the wide variety of activities that make up Senior Week. For more information please contact the Alumni Association at (617) 452-3372 or email: aa-student-services@mit.edu.

Senior Gift Committee

The Senior Gift, which is announced at Commencement, is the total amount of gifts and pledges made by members of the senior class during the Senior Gift Campaign in the spring of senior year. All gifts, regardless of designation, are included in the total. Recruitment for this committee will begin in the spring of a class' junior year. The committee begins planning in the fall, and the campaign kicks off in March.
