Each year, Family Weekend provides the opportunity for families to experience MIT culture firsthand and to interact with faculty, administrators, students, and fellow MIT parents.

When is Family Weekend 2008?
Family Weekend will be held Friday morning, 10/17, through early Sunday, 10/19.

When should I make hotel and travel arrangements?
October is an exciting time to be in Boston, and many tourists will be visiting for exhibitions, conventions, the arts, and sporting events. Hotel specials are now available online so that Family Weekend attendees may begin planning their visit today.

What is there to do if I arrive before Family Weekend?
Attendees who intend to arrive prior to Friday, October 17, or after Sunday, October 19, may check the MIT event calendar to find out what is happening on campus.
