CAMIT, and MITAAA are based on a self-identified constituency.

AMITA
Association of MIT Alumnae
AMITA, which is dedicated to connecting alumnae to each other and to MIT,
has been active for more than 100 years. |

Black Alumni of MIT
Established in 1979, this group brings together alumni of African descent for personal and
professional development and to support MIT and black communities. |

Bisexual, Gay and Lesbian
Alumni of MIT
BGALA provides a social and professional network for bisexual, gay, and
lesbian alumni and their supporters. BGALA also works to promote a supportive
environment at MIT. |

MITAAA, founded in 1997, unites hundreds of Arab alumni around the globe
