NO CAMPAIGNING POLICY
In the spirit of fairness, we have asked each candidate to agree not to electioneer, campaign, solicit votes,or have others electioneer, campaign, or solicit votes on the nominee's/candidate's behalf.
Voters are also asked NOT to campaign on behalf candidates and could subject a candidate to disqualification. Candidates were asked to include a one page 'poster' to provide additional information. This 'poster page' is the ONLY sanctioned form of campaigning allowed.

Each year a recent alumnus/alumna is elected to join the MIT Corporation, the Institute's Board of Trustees. Serving as a recent graduate member on the MIT Corporation offers an exciting opportunity to participate in the governance of the Institute and interact with senior leaders in business, industry, and academia, and provides a valued perspective on important issues facing MIT.

This year a 2010, 2011, or prospective 2012 graduate will be elected to the MIT Corporation.

The process of selecting candidates for this ballot began last fall when nominations were solicited. The Corporation Screening Committee reviewed all the materials submitted by the nominees and selected the following eight (8) candidates who appear on this ballot:

ELIGIBILITY TO VOTE

MIT alumni who received either an undergraduate or graduate degree in 2010 or 2011, along with individuals who are expecting to receive an undergraduate or graduate degree by June 2012 are eligible to vote in this year's election.

NO CAMPAIGNING POLICY

Campaigning is not allowed by candidates or voters and could subject a candidate to disqualification. Please review all the candidate profiles before casting your vote. Candidates were asked to include a one page 'poster' to provide additional information. This 'poster page' is the ONLY sanctioned form of campaigning allowed.

This is a preferential ballot. You must pick a first choice. After that you *may* rank as many other candidates as you would like.
